Congratulations U Dub fans. My heart is still beating but broken
You're an idiot and must be making an entire judgment on one game and the fact the refs kept UW in that game.
Thanks.
Much like yourselves...we never give up and were rewarded with our play the last 15 minutes.
Your shooters are lights out and Heyword and the lefty are future nba players.

I'm not very nice right now so I can;t congratulate any UW fan, in DC they booed and heckled up to our face every single MU fan walking out of the bar from downstairs....
I wouldn't say Washington is the better team. I will say they made the plays down the stretch, they got the loose balls at the end that we were getting at the start of the second half that contributed to our big lead.
I do think the refs sucked. The last 10 minutes of the first half was simply atrocious. But I think it balanced out a bit after that and that's when we got the 15 pt lead. The Overton kid was critical for UW and then Hayward took a bad shot, Butler threw the ball away, we couldn't get a rebound and then there was no defensive help on the final shot. We were in a position to win, but didn't get it done. I love Hayward - one of my all-time favorites at MU - tough way to go out.
Washington shot the ball really well. I know we gave up a lot of open looks, but they still had to make them.
I'll second KCMarq09 - the Washington fans were classes jerks at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern tonight as the MU fans filled out and down the stairs. Taunted all the Marquette fans as they went by. I even said nice game guys and the UW fan's response was "shut up you loser." Nice.
Yesterday I e-mailed a colleague who works out west (huge college bball fan) asking him for his thoughts on Washington. Unfortunately, I didn't see his response until this morning...
"Eagles will have their hands full. Wash is BY FAR the most talented team in the Pac-10. Massive underachievers for much of the season, just now getting it together. Probably a 2-3 if they played up to their capabilities. Overall, more talent than MU. Big question is if they show it."
