Title: Final shot misplayed
Post by: MU Avenue on March 18, 2010, 09:31:41 PM
Yes, there was only 1.7 seconds on the clock, but Marquette had time to get something better than a 45-foot "prayer."

The loss to Washington was an all-team collapse.

Painful to watch.

I thought it was a good look. They got Lazar the ball moving forward, he got a dribble, and got a look with no one in his face. That's all you can ask for. They weren't gonna let a full court pass get completed.

Yea, with only 1.7 seconds left, i thought that was a great look. This isn't the NBA where you can take the ball out at half court. Zar got an unchallenged shot going forward from just inside half court. It actually looked on target at first.
