You guys played a heck of a game and should be proud of your team. Even though the scores has us winning I feel like you guys went out as winners. There were a few no calls that favor my Huskies but your team didn't go out like losers and still fought. Buzz is a great coach and he will bring you guys back to the dance sooner.
Thanks..good luck to your team as well. They are talented..and I said all along..I felt whoever wins this game..will beat New Mexico/Montana. Unfortunately we have some fans who think our coaching was the reason we lost this game. That's sad.
Thanks for the props, and I'm glad that you recognize that the refs could have called it differently.
That being said, we gave up a huge lead and you guys made us pay for it, and we can't take anything away from y'all.

Being a UW fan I am glad they were no calls but if I was a Marquette fan I will be mad at the refs and you guys had a reason to. I think the refs were feeding off the UW fans in the arena. It was pro-UW in San Jose and who knows maybe they fed off that energy. Refs are known to feed off the crowd. Well I am just happy we got the W. And how many players are returning for you guys next year? If Marquette can pick up a low post player or two that is going to be a scary team.

I am not hear to rub it in anyone's face because in my books both teams were winners even if the scoreboard didn't say so. Haywood, Johnson-Odom and Cubillian can play for my team any day. Those guys are winners.

Marquette left everything out on the court. Washington shot lights out, especially on 3s, and barely managed to win. You guys should be proud of your team. They overachieved all year relative to what the pundits expected coming into the year. I hope Buzz stays there a long time and builds on the success you achieved this year.

MU will never get passed the 2nd round as long as we roll out a team of lilliputians. We have 2 guys on the bench that are big, but they are projects at best. This team plays hard, but they got the lead and were careless with the ball...a travel, a foul and a turnover and the lead is 10.
Just as quickly as the lead was built it was gone. The tournament is a guards game, but you need balance. And when you absolutely need to score you have to have a big man. It wasn't the officiating it was a choke job. Bad passes, falling over with the ball, 3 pointers with 18 seconds left on the shot clock. This is old hat for MU (please reference Stanford, Missouri and now UW).
