just 1 rebound completely turned this game around. We are set to have the last possession, but NO we cannot get a damn rebound.
That was just bad luck, long rebound off a missed three. It was the possession prior with about 2 minutes left where they got 4-5 cracks that hurt bad.

forget the bad luck. that exuse has been used before. This is why MU does not get the respect many feel it deserves. Gotta be able to win games. once again, we are bounce out bright and early.

Well, we finished the season 8-8 in games decided by less than 4 points..so we did exactly what probablity says we should do in a close game. Mad as can be right now, but in the big picture..who thought we'd be in the NCAA this year...and we just got done playing a road game to pres-season Number 14 team, and Pac 10 Champion.

It was bad luck though on the play the original poster brought up. The rest of the game wasn't bad luck, it was bad defense, lack of length, and Butler pulling a vanishing act.
When are we going to quit making excuses for everyone of these close losses, it's the refs fault, bad luck, etc....how about not being able to play defense, rebound or hold onto a second half lead. We have done it all season but yet everyone continues to make excuses or give reason as to why. How about making an effort on the defensive end for a change!!!!! It was a nice year and unexpected but really we lost to a very average Pac-10 team in which we were winning by 15 points in the second half. Come on people.
