Yet we played as about as well as we can offensively.....we need to tight up the defense in the 2nd half....if we do we will win. If we don't then we'll have to match them 3 for 3 again which I'm uncomfortable doing.
Refs calling just about everything. Let's hope they cool off... although they can't get any hotter???
Buzz went to a 1-2-2 zone for a little bit that was effective..then he went away from it for a few minutes..UW came back on us..put it back in and I think Buycks either didn't get the call or just lost his mind for a minute and we let Isaiah Thomas size up a wide open, uncontested three.
I think we'll see some more zone.
Like Buzz said...if we UW plays us, we'll be fine...if we play UW, they'll mop the floor with us. Right now, we are playing UW's game.
Buzz will make some good half time adjustments - we jsut need to stay out of foul trouble - a lot of fouls called int he first half; UW's were srped around pretty good except for Overton; ours more concentrated, but Fulce already with 3.
Going to be a battle the second half - hope our guys have enough wind. This is it - have to be tough as nails second half. And Jimmy needs to take some in and draw more fouls.

I still wish Jimmy would focus on making the shot first. Twice in a row he drove fishing for fouls, missed and didn't get the calls. Enabled them to get up on us.

Agree but Jimmy took it to the rack a couple of times and there was definitely contact, foul worthy on 1 attempt, and possibly on the other...then UW is getting to the line on tick tack calls underneath (and in transition against DJO when player jumped into DJO)

Yet we are winning; they don't seem to be mopping the floor with us. Still, we need to take control of the pace of the game in the second half.
