Title: Villanova looking HORRIBLE
Post by: Jam Chowder on March 18, 2010, 12:21:40 PM
Making Robert Morris look like pros... Lazy play, turnovers, sloppy play, etc... Down 6 with 1:20 left. Yikes.

6 points is nothing but they do look brutal.

Jay Wright would be destroyed if they lost after benching Reynolds.

this might be a bracket killer.

I feel bad for anyone having to watch this game. Robert Morris has 13 turnovers at the half. Nova is having issues as a team more than on the court.

Since that's our signature win, doesn't make me feel that great either....we beat them in a barn burner last week and they have really struggled the last 6 to 8 games of the season.

Oh boy. From a bracket perspective, this wouldn't be so awful for me. I only have Nova to the sweet 16, and a lot of people have them further.

In other news, All Big East First Team performer Luke Harangody contributing with 0 points and 2 fouls in the first half.

Well, at least I have Marquette beating 'Nova in the FF.  :o

Old Dominion is makin a run at the beginning of the second half, I couldn't pick ND in that game. Gody is evil and chubby

My God does he look awful.  Missed wide open 10 footer. Missed a layup. He's been killing that team when he's on the floor today.

Ah yes... now Scottie starts hitting his floater and RM's wheels start to come off.

RM is looking good and Scottie is looking horrible.  I am kind of routing for Robert Morris.

If you pick Vill to go any where in the tournament you have not been watching them play the last month of the season.

Yikes, no kidding. Villa looks absolutely uninspired. I kept expecting them to start trying and take over the game, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Or you hated every team in that region but figured someone had to win.

Wow - the officiating in this Nova-Bobby Mo game is starting to look like Game 6 of 2002 Lakers-Kings. " - Simmons

as a die-hard Kings fan this makes me both happy and sad

Nova has the ball and a chance to win.    What lesson were you teaching, Jay?

A lob to Sutton?   That would be like us throwing the lob to Yous.

By keeping track online I can tell that all of these games are sloppy. Lots of fouls and turnovers, does anyone want to win???

RMU is fearless.   Surprised Yarou was allowed to touch the ball, but he made them both.

Redding should have taken the freaking layup.   Can't give up the sure 2 when you are a 60% FT shooter.    And that is why.    HUGE 3!

Mile Rice, the RMC head coach was an assistant at MU when I worked there.  Nice job by them today....he probably just earned a job at a bigger school

Apparently, Jay Wright doesn't read the scoop, or he would have fouled there.    Clearly, a coach who doesn't know end of game situations.    On a somewhat related topic, what 'lesson' can you teach a senior all-conference guard?   It is tourney time.   Play your studs.   Don't send messages.

"Robert Morris only lost on the score board." - quote by Enberg (not sure who said it)

There are no moral victories in the NCAA Tournament.  They lost.
