Not sure if anyone saw this last night on the news.

That's awesome, thanks for the post!!
Dang it, we love you Buzz.
Hahahahaha awesome! :D
Someone with more talent than I should remake the "Jack Bauer is my homeboy" tshirts into Coach Buzz is my homeboy. I'd buy one.

It's amazing seeing some of the broadcasters that I recall 20 years ago when I was a student. They're still there, which is unheard out here in LaLa land. Of course, they all look 20+ years old, lots of gray hair, etc, but good to see them still around.
I hope buzz coaches here until he retires. What a great dude.
That Rod Burks dude is a bit of a doofus though.
Watching that video, you can tell he is just itching to go to Iowa. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
This is why I've been a staunch Buzz backer since I've begun posting on MU scoop...and why I've defended him at virtually every turn. He's the best thing to happen to MU basketball outside of Dwyane Wade, since Al McGuire. As another poster said, hopefully in 30 years there will be a statue of him next to the one of Al, in the Al Mcguire center. Maybe that's overly optimistic, but why be cynical? Dude is awesome -did you notice the female news anchor's reaction?
Thanks for posting the video. Now hopefully MU doesn't lose tonight as we'll have to endure the armchair basketball coaches dissecting the "bad coaching," or the woulda, coulda, shoulda crowd - pointing out how the team would have won if "they" were coach.
Another great clip, DJOs Pump Fake - thanks! Major snort aside, Buzz is just the best representative Marquette could have. This really is a special team with a very special leader.
Good stuff. I was very skeptical when he was hired (did they just replace Tom Crean with Tom Crean?), but his body of work - especially this year - speaks for itself. And he's a helluva lot more likeable than Crean ever was.

Th twin weathermen Jim Ott and Paul Joseph only retired within the last 5 years. I remember my first year at MU in 75 watching WTMJ and I thought the same weatherman worked 7 days a week until somebody told me they were different people. You also didn't see the ones who left WTMJ and recycled to other local stations, it is hard to believe the shelf life of Milwaukee news people.

Jim Ott is now a State Representative in Wisconsin, and apparently a pretty good one. Agree that those guys were around forever though.
