Ok so we all know that the real analysts are among the sportscenter and game day crew, but i just found the ultimate reason why the guys on ESPN U blow. Not sure why i watch the bracket stuff on their, guess im bored but they were talking about San Diego State. The kinda lanky black guy forgot his name, hes actually on the main sportscenter every now and then, goes on to explain them as a team whose "not just happy to be their" like the case for most teams captain obvious.
Now the part that really got me. He said an example would be the gophers last year, a team i heavily follow. he goes on to blabble about how we were just happy to be their in Tubbys first year(his second) and that we didnt really care if we won or not, we accomplished what we wanted. Wrong again. Now for the kicker. He said we were pleased with just playng against MEMPHIS and that showing up wasnt a priority. Well wise guy, Memphis was a 2 seed actually, so was a big 10 team really a 15 seed?
In short. Dont watch ESPN U, you can snag any McDonalds employee to do just as good a job.
Also, don't read the post above if incorrect usage of THEIR (=there) , lack of apostrophes bother you, and lack of appropriate capitalization bother you.
Other than that, it was a pretty incoherent point.
Those are the type of posts that you hope the poster didn't go or rather doesn't go to Marquette.

Yet you nearly got McDonalds (should be McDonald's) right. A sign of the times?

What is it with guys with screen names including Hayward and the inability to spell or write cohesive paragraphs?
what is it with walk ons so late in the season? Hoppin on the wagon a little late if you ask me.
better late then never i guess.
Change your screen name to HaywoodsHeroes! :D
I'm part of the "younger" generation where this has become a huuuuuge problem. I honestly blame it on text messages. No caps, no spell check, no punctuation. Sad, sad day....

Ah, the old "I've-been-around-longer-than-you-so-I'm-inherently-better-than-you" routine. Well played, sir. Well played indeed.

Yup, you were just owned. Higher number of posts = more credibility. Surprised you didn't know that, but I guess you're just a walk on.
damn right it does, thats how you get your opinion respected. That is how i have got many other fans of other teams to notice marquette, because they find what i say knowledgeable whether its grammatically correct or not. So yes, I am not the walk on

Actually, it doesn't. You can just as easily (even easier actually) make a large number or incoherent, nonsensical, horrible posts, as make good posts. You get your opinion respected by making well reasoned logical points. Well, sometimes anyways.
And if number of posts gained you credibility, wouldn't the ESPN guys you are calling out have more credibility just because they are on TV? I mean, a 30 second SC segment has to equal like 500 posts. Right?
Alright, this thread started nowhere, and got nowhere fast. Locked.
