One thing that MU can take heart on, is that Acker and Cubillan should be ready to guard this Thomas kid. They have three years of experience guarding Dominic James in practice.
He sounds like a similar skill set: athletic, great driver, strong for his size, can't shoot.
Has to count for something...
If I remember from last year correctly, he seems much smaller and slight of build than DJ.
U-Dub fan here.
Isaiah is pretty much as the first poster described him. One thing to note is that when he drives, he has an incredible talent for absorbing contact after he jumps and still maintaining body control to put up a good shot--best I've seen at Washington. A large part of his game is looking for contact in the lane so that he can get to the free-throw line. Also, for a guy his size, he rarely gets his shot blocked.
Anyway, looking forward to a good game Thursday.
He's shot pretty well in the last half of the season. It's taken a few bad shots from outside that's pushed his percentage down, but he always seems to be clutch with that 3 when we need it the most.

Sounds even more like Dominic James.

boy, i don't like hearing that a team we are playing has a clutch 3 point shooter, seeing how we like to only have a 2 point lead in final seconds. this should be a great game.
