Great win... Nova has a great RPI and this win sealed our tourney fate.  Let's battle and get the 2nd seed in the Big East tourney.

DJ had a nice game and hit his threes and his free throws.  Let's hope this game helped get his confidence back for the rest of the season.  I predict a very big game for him vs. ND on Saturday.  Lazar was awesome tonight and I hope he found his game.  We need him to do some damage this weekend.  Our free throw shooting won the game for us tonight after costing us the last two games.  Let's finish this season out strong!!

Good work by the boys tonight.  I really feel we can go into ND and shut them down.  The difference will be Barro, he needs to step up in the paint.

Good crowd tonight.  Lots of energy in the BC despite the skid, despite the odd start time on a Monday night, and despite having gotten our collective knees swept two nights ago.  I figured people might take this one off, but the upper bowl was nearly 2/3 full.  Bad on me.  Good on MU!

It was so nice to see another guy make a couple of threes. We thought LH was going to be our outsider shooter coming into the year and we saw him today. Let's hope his confidence allows him to to keep taking and making those shots.

''Guys were making fun of me how it was about time I start playing this way,'' said Hayward, who was 5-for-7 from the floor. ''I can't let this be a one-hit wonder.'' (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/ncaa/men/recaps/2007/02/19/42116_recap.html)

Hopefully this is the point where Lazar turns the corner for us.

I was thrilled to see Hayward play so well again on a national stage. I attended the MU v GU game and saw Hayward for the most part the most effective player on the court for MU. He will be a force in the future, and if his play remains at a high level I feel confident that MU will have a stong chance to win the Big East T.

Ring out ahoya.

P.S. all Boston area MU Alums, March 3rd, Cask 'N Flagon to watch MU beat Pitt on national Marquette Day
