How does mu drop down to a 10 seed on bracketology when they just beat the 10 ranked team in the country?
1) Rankings are meaningless.
2) If you're looking at a bracket prediction this morning, it's taking the GTown game into account.
Even so, after beating Villanova, there was talk that we were a 7 and a win vs. G'town would solidify that and a loss probably wouldn't hurt us too much since we just beat 'Nova. So dropping to a 10 is frustrating.
I actually think we have a better shot at a Sweet 16 out of the ten seed. I'd give it about a 20% probability. Even if we lose the opening round game, this year has been a huge success.
