Boxscore shows zero minutes. Is he so far in the doghouse he couldn't play the final minutes of a blowout?

He played for about a minute or two.
Does it really matter who we play at the end of a game when we are losing by 20?
Yeah, EWill would have checked Monroe just fine.

This has to be a direct quote from earlier in the year... I'm about to check to confirm
EDIT:is anyone else worried that Williams is buried so deep in the doghouse that this year will be a complete waste of time? Even Rod Grosse and Joe Nethen played in their first seasons.
Close but no cigar. This was the best I could find.

That playing time did a world of good for Nethen and Grosse too.
Good Lord. He's not in the doghouse. Putting him in against those guys from Georgetown would be like turning your golden retriever over to the Vick estate. You can't be building these guys confidence every day in practice and then just say, "Go guard #10 out there." It's insanity.
I was happy to see Caudogan out there and I liked his aggressiveness.
Last night was a blow out situation, we lose by 30 if EWill gets more minutes. He is just not ready. My concern is that he isn't getting any "big on big" practice and may not be ready next year. While I do wish he would have gotten more playing time during the year, it just wasn't appropriate.
I would have liked to see someone try and MAKE Greg Monroe use his right hand to dribble, just once.
Absolutely, that's grade school fundamentals.
Yeah - Buzz said we were not playing to the scouting report. We just got manhandled anyway you look at it. The half-time adjustments made by G-Town to just keep pouding it inside worked and we could't stop it; trying made us even more tired and we just collapsed in half two. Rushed shots, helter-skelter play, not calm like we usually are.
On to the NCAA! Let's win a couple there at least!
GO MARQUETTE!!
I was not saying that I wanted him to play more, and that his playing would have turned things around. What I was saying is that if you can't let him smell the floor in the final minutes of a blowout, then how can he ever improve? I know MU could not have redshirted him because of the injuiries/dad, but the way the year went maybe it would be have been better for EWill.

Practice. Not a game, not a game. We talkin' about practice.

He played a minute or so at the end last night. If the box score said zero it was wrong.
