Honestly, before the season began, I was bracing myself for several 20+ points losses in the big east. The fact that we only had one is fine with me. Perspective, people.
If we play like that again, another blowout will be on the way.
Get on the recruiting trail and get some bigs.
Add in the last 5 games from last season and MU went 38 games without a double digit loss. Not bad.
Perspective is right, Indy.
Loss = chip on shoulder.
Maintain it, MU. Maintain it and carry it through the NCAAs.
It was 51-47 with 12:30 left in the second half when Georgetown ran away with it (to their credit). It's not like it was a blowout from start-to-finish. MU did a great job of rallying from a 9-0 score with only a couple of minutes gone at the start.
Oh well. Another day of rest and some lessons learned. Bring on game on of the NCAAs. All but 1 Big East team will leave the tournament with a loss.
