Yeah wow. I probably would have voted Wisco though, illinois sucks i cant believe they won. I thought wisco would atleast make semi's. But its nice knowing that no matter what we went atleast 1 round farther, 2 more wins and in a tougher conference.
We be done advancing now as Georgetown thoroughly stomped out undersized butts.
just about the only thing that can soften the blow of this beating tonight is knowing that Wisconsin still can't play outside of the Kohl center. I wish I could have seen some of that game just to catch some of Bo's faces today
Actually, Illinois also beat them earlier this year AT the Kohl Center.

Hey that hurts man....Im an Illinois fan, then a Marquette fan.
We do suck bad sometimes, but this team is bi-polar and can really play good basketball at times. They have good wins vs @Clemson, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, @Wisconsin, and Wisconsin again. That may not sound too impressive. But i'm pretty sure we rank in the top 5 in the nation for most wins against the RPI top 35
Truthfully... I'm pretty surprised we won today too. I had to take my dog on a short walk with 40 seconds left because I was getting way too nervous.
I almost had flashbacks to the NCAA tournament game vs Virginia Tech in 07. Illinois was up 12 and didnt score for the last 8 minutes or so.

Illinois at least has the white dude in the middle, who can play.
