So UW is down 34-20, but are shooting 16%, slow down offense to the extreme.
Die Rodents Die!
How much time left in the game, 2 minutes? ;D
3rd OT

33 points with 4 minutes left and 20% shooting. Hughes 0-11 so far.

This is IMPOSSIBLE. Didn't Chicos declare that a team like WVU would have NO CHANCE against the Badgers? Illinois must be REALLY good.
Wisconsin looks a little slow today:

And somehow not out of it yet. After watching the BEast tourney (other than ND), it is like watching a 20 year old bondo'd Yugo with the parking brake on and a spare tire attempting to drive on the highway.
Only in the Big Televen can one of your better teams be capable of shooting this poorly.
I loathe the Big Televen. It's almost as bad as the WNBA.

LOL, that would actually be funny though. I ve equated it more like walking in on your parents...
And it is a freaking 3 point game because Illini cannot make FT's or hold onto the ball. B10 Basketball....it's fugly!
Trevon Hughes is just going off right now!
Well, Wisconsin lost...Bohannon had a shot to tie it but couldn't hit it.
Bummer
Why do I hear sobbing in the cube one row over? Oh, that's right, a UW alum is sitting over there. :D
I would love for MU to play the Illini. We would absolutely hound them with our ball pressure. They actually get less inside looks and baskets than we do it seems like and they play two really tall white guys.
Wisconsin manhandles this team in Champaign just a few days ago, then plays like this against Illinois who needs a win to get into the tournament. Always makes me wonder.
Something tells me Wisconsin will play much better in the NCAAs while Illinois gets smoked in the first round.

lol are you suggesting they threw the game to get Illinois in?
Wisconsin just didn't come to play today.

Not really, just playing around....but for years we would always chat about this with the Big Ten in the department. It was uncanny how the school that was on the bubble always seemed to get that miracle win down the stretch against what seemed to be pretty difficult odds. It was uncanny and we would predict it two weeks before it happened because you could see it setting up before it unfolded.
No, they most certainly didn't throw it, but some of those calls at the end were ridiculously pro-Illini.
You have to remember also when we would joke around about all this stuff the Big Ten was getting slammed for the Clem Haskins cheating at Minnesota, stuff going on at Ohio State under Cooper, the Illini had NCAA issues, Wisconsin had NCAA violations....they were a conference that couldn't stay out of trouble.

The only reason Wisconsin is even in the game is three ridiculous three pointers by Hughes.
But I have no doubt that Illinois was more motivated than Wisconsin was.
The BADgers were at a disadvantage because they had a bye and had to wait to play.
MU definitely has the ability to make this one helluva weekend.
