Over the past 3 days I realized there was coaches and even players wearing these lime-green passes around their neck. Odd, I think so. Anyone know what the heck they're for? Do people think fans are going to randomly sneak onto the bench and then they'll be asked to see there "ID"?
I believe that their meant to keep family members of the Providence Friars from walking onto the court during free throws.

Likely the same thing the do at the NCAA Tournament. This is to make sure only proper players and staff get checked into the building and are allowed in certain areas of the building. Standard practice for tournaments like this and an absolute requirement for the NCAAs. No pass, no entry. I could tell you guys several very funny stories in the hallways of the Bradley Center around this....including one where Steve Lappas of Nova didn't have his pass. Good stuff. Over a beer sometime.
