+1. DJO played a great offensive game, but the turnovers were an issue. Coobie played great D today.

Cooby!  Thank goodness for that "foul" on Reynolds, though.  We may be singing a different tune.  Big free throws!

17 points, free throws down the stretch and the D he played....outstanding.

Willie Warrior, it's still hard to believe Cubillan and Acker are on the floor isn't it?

Hold on there...Cubillan had a bonehead turnover towards the end of the game and almost another one at the very end of the game....he's gotta tighten up his handle if Acker isn't in there...

Who wasn't SOG? Four starters in double figures

The whole team deserves it.

Everyone played well, but DJO deserves this, his shooting was outstanding.  He had a career high if I am not mistaken.

LAZAR NO DOUBT, He had the huge 3 and hit the FT's at the end of the game

this is a tough stud call. The whole team played great. But i like having a tough stud call. my votes for DJO

JMac gave it to Lazar.  DJO did not get it due to JMac's "zero rebound" rule.   No rebs = No MVP

ZAR had 7 of our last 10 points you have to give it to him

LOVE that there's some debate over this with several players being suggested; demonstrates that the SOG for today's game was the TEAM.

I vote Lazar!

DJO got the quality start but Lazar closed things out for the save.

Everyone did their job, DJO was going off for a while and keeping us in it. Jimmy had big buckets late. Cooby was solid all the way through, and Zar was Zar coming up clutch in the end. Should be a team 1 but id probably go to zar just because of the late surge and his rebounding.

DJO if SOG is determined by points

Coobie for defense. i can think of two defensive plays that kept 'Nova from taking control of the game.

Very good game by all for sure.  This was the first game that I actually said, "I feel something from Cooby coming up."  He was really good today, minus the two ball handling situations.  It just felt like he was going to make the plays today.  He played very good D on Reynolds, they were going at it.

Though the vote is over...
DJO..held Reading to 2 points on 1-9 shooting, and scored 24..

Cooby is alternate
Lazar and 2nd alternate..though can't argue with his clutch free throw shooting down the stretch

DJO already is a stud--it matters not if he is SOG

I say Coobie and here is why:  The biggest threat to MU today was (and has been) Scotty Reynolds.  I don't care who voted for Harangody, Scotty Reynolds is the POY and a MU killer.  Cooby took the challenge and kicked his ass up and down the court all day.  10 pts.  3 to's.  2 assists.  Reynolds did not get to the line once.  This was the best defense Reynolds has seen this year and a huge reason we won.

Everyone played great and Lazar (and DJO) deserve the SOG but Cooby was awesome today.

I initially was going DJO without hesitation.......but you have convinced me otherwise.  I'll give Cubillan the nod.
