Title: Syracuse v. Georgetown
Post by: Jam Chowder on March 11, 2010, 12:39:58 PM
Georgetown has definitely turned it on in the second half... they are looking scary good right now. Talk about a tale of two teams. When they are on their game, they are a talented bunch. That win is looking really good right now.

As someone with limited knowledge of how RPI works, would a big GT win have any significant effect on our RPI going into selection sunday?

Will JTIII still be on the hotseat if they hold on to win?

I haven't studied the formula in depth but "big" means nothing just Ws and Ls.  In general, since we played both teams it will be a wash.  Now for seeding, our W over Georgetown means more.
