He had one bad game mainly because of foul trouble but they still won and that is all that matters. Just think that we won with out him and will be that much better today with him.
Agreed...and his second foul was questionable yesterday in my opinion.
Knowin' how Jimmy is, we will get one-and-a-half games worth of production out of him today.

Well said.
Who is on Jimmy's back? Looks like most people are defending him. Anyone who gets on his back hasn't been watching MU all year. He will have a great game today.
Agreed, second foul was non-existent -it was called by official behind Jimmy who couldn't see play . TV angle clearly showed no contact. Foul trouble did slow him down and he didn't seem to be as agressive as usual in second half

Who's Abe?
And why is Butler above criticism? He got two quick fouls, so that excuses his complete lack of production or hustle yesterday? Give me a break...
They were ticky tack fouls, and give me a break. Hayward and Butler go into games knowing that they have no room for error, and then people question their defense. You can only do so much, and its pretty hard to hustle sitting on the bench. If there's one thing you should not be questioning its this teams hustle.

He played plenty in the second half, but never really got his head into the game.
And why are the refs always a scapegoat?
I love Butler, but even Buzz said in his news conference that he didn't contribute to the win at all.
Obviously the refs were trying to set the tone early, yet you can argue that from game to game the calls are inconsistent from one crew to the next. If you've ever watched a game announced by Bilas' crew he agrees that there are a lot of no calls. Granted its the Big East and the games tend to be more physical and they let them play more. Whether that hurts or helps tourney time I'm unsure.
I'm not jumping on the refs, or calling them a scapegoat for Jimmy's fouls. I'm just saying that their needs to be more consistent calls, first half and second for both teams. And yes that was a charge by DJO at the end of the game.

In another thread you called him the softest player for MU...that is not a criticism of production or hustle.
You are also being ignored by 55+ posters, which furthers the argument that nothing you add to the threads are insightful or worthy of the bandwidth you're occupying. Veiled hate is the tone of every one of your posts.
Give all of us a break. We get it, you hate MU, why waste time on the message board?

+1
Butler in a fog today, too.
Whose winning right now?
