Title: Hypothetical NIT Question
Post by: TallTitan34 on March 10, 2010, 09:49:13 AM
While I don't think there is any chance it will happen, say Marquette didn't get into the big dance and had to settle for the NIT.

Would Marquette be forced to play on the road until the NCAA Tournament games were complete at the Bradley Center?  There are shoot arounds on days before games so Wednesday - Sunday would all be out.

Could they play at the AL?

In 1995, I know they played an NIT game at the Arena.

More than a few have said it regarding that year.  That was the craziest crowd ever... everyone jam packed into that building... I could barely hear myself think.

I was second row, center court and it was great.  This was before tickets were allocated based on B&G points.  You actually had to go to the 1212 Building and stand in line for tickets.  That allowed the more energetic fans to get the good seats.
