Also...Stephenson gets ROY
When I saw that Scottie Reynolds was the only unanimous choice for First Team All BE, I thought he would be a lock for Player of the Year. Guess not. I find that odd...

I don't find it that odd. He unanimously a top 5 player in the conference. That doesn't mean everyone thinks he is the #1 player in the conference.
i dont quite get the ROY pick... I know lance started strong, but it really seemed that he regressed into more of just a role player. as the season went on. Then again i dont know who else i would have picked.

Beheim was the correct choice. There can be no debate
That's debatable

That Boeheim was the choice or that the choice is not debatable??
That Boeheim was the choice. Granted Im bias, but Buzz deserved that award as much as anyone. I actually would put Buzz in the National Coach of the Year discussion also.
I disagree, but I guess it depends on how each person defines coach of the year. My definition is which ever coach's team most exceeds expectations. I would have to go through all the preseason expectations by the "experts," but I can't imagine there are too many coaches who have a more impressive resume than Buzz this year, including Boeheim.

+1
DJO would work for me (assuming he's eligible).

I believe that only Freshman can win the award.

If transfers were eligible then I think it would've been Johnson.

Boeheim wins the sympathy vote?

Why did Jim Boeheim sign that picture of Buddy Holly playing basketball? :D

I thought that might be the case....
Hard to argue with Boeheim winning considering he lead his team to practically the Number 1 ranking in the country...BUT..Boeheim did NOT have to endure injuries and transfers and the size challenges that Buzz was forced to endure. That said any other year, Buzz probably wins for the job he did this year.
