St. Johns up 15 late in the first half on UConn.
UCONN needs to go to the hoop strong, St. Johns is racking up a lot of fouls. I'm keeping track of the game online, but it seems as if St. Johns is outhustling UCONN for rebounds.
Uconn seems unconcerned and lazy, St. Johns is playing hustle ball. Uconn was down 17 with 38 seconds to go.
Uconn hit a three, then a technical foul on St. Johns, so at half St. Johns by 13.
UCONN trailing shows just how much Calhoun and his team have lost interest in this season. Hell, they could have been down by 20 but for the refs who called two quick fouls on Kennedy and Mason.
UCONN seems checked out completely. No heart.
I was hoping St John's would win because I thought they were an easier opponent, but now after seeing that half I think UConn would have been the easier opponent.

Maybe this will end their bubble talk once and for all.
Johnnies getting a lot of offensive rebounds, and UConn is usually one shot and done. St. John's is playing with purpose, UConn just seems to be floating around on the court. Letting the shot clock run down and jacking up a bad three.
UConn's bubble is slowly popping in this game. They need to turn things around quick.

Both teams look unimpressive.
St. Johns also took care of business last year against Georgetown and then quietly exited against us. How they play today is no indication of how they will play tomorrow. Buzz will have the team ready to take care of business.

I've been wondering all week why people are still scared of UConn. I'd rather play them again than the Johnnies.
Calhoun must be pissed. He benched Dyson for start of second half.
Lets hope UCONN can come back and make this a multiple overtime game, I dont care who wins. No matter who we play I expect MU to come running out of the gates tomorrow and having a good lead by halftime.

Not me. I want the wicked witch dead and buried once and for all.
the officials have swallowed their whistles. lots of no calls in this game IMO.

I just sat staring at that video clip for like 3 minutes.
Why is that drop dead gorgeous black girl sitting with some a$$ faced white dude behind the UCONN bench....
my god she's gorgeous.

UCONN has 0 fouls 10 min into the 2nd half.
If UCONN is going to make a run its going to have to be now
In the back of my mind I keep thinking that there going to make a game of this. Yet not being able to watch this it reminds me of how inadequate their offense is. They don't run anything. St. Johns has put UCONN at the line a decent amount but 5-15 on free throws thats god awful. I wouldn't be surprised to see Calhoun leave after this year.
When he left for health reasons in the middle of the season that was the end.

In my opinion, the end was when he came out on the wrong end of 6OT's.
Refs letting them play. Uconn should skip the nit and just scrimage depaul as punishment for this effort.

Is she with Devendorf?

MU plays SJU. Lead is 100% safe
http://www.slate.com/id/2185975/
Also, a 7 point lead with 1:10 remaining is only 18% safe
I sure hope she's better than the blonde behind Buzz!
St. John's wont let UConn get in the paint easily. Uconn settling for perimeter looks and fast-breaks. St. John's is doing their best to let UConn back in, but UConnot.
I like the matchup versus the Johnnies based on SJU today. We handle the ball better and will be fine from outside. SJU shouldn't get the open looks they have today versus our defense. MU by 6.
guard play guard play.....their guard play is awful for UCONN today. Awful
It just depends on what uconn team shows... this one or the one that bean wvu and at nova, oh and they should've beat cuse. That's why people can be scared of uconn.
Wow it's official now. Not even close as SJU wins by 22.

Is that suppose to be surprising? What has UConn accomplished in the BE tourney over the last 5 years?

Agreed. Dyson has been sleepwalking the last few weeks, putting everthing on Walker. UConn has no real experienced guard depth, so if Dyson does not show up....ouch!
And would you believe the home page of ESPN says: The Huskies tournament hopes may have been dashed." Seriously? UCONN has NO business being in the discussion for a tourney spot...

Nice, I like it. Now I know that a 39 point lead at halftime guarantees a win!
MU shouldn't have too much trouble tomorrow with St Johns.

Holy Crap!! a 5 point lead without the ball is only 19% safe with 12 seconds left!! That is a really cool calculator Sugar...now I need to see if it works on my Droid so I can use it the whole first weekend of the NCAAs to impress friends and family.
St Johns played well today. But i hope our boys smell that opportunity for another crack at Nova and come out flying.
Wow.. to guarantee a win all we have to do is 52 points in the first minute of the game (51 if we get a steal at the end of those 51 points too)!!!
Another poster said it before the way St. John's played today is no indication of how they will play tomorrow. I don't think this is a gimme game for Marquette. I'm hoping St. John's will play with a little chip on their shoulder because of they way they got embarrassed last year. Who knows? Either way I was happy to give it to UConn today.
The game definitly wont be easy by any means, but its one that MU definitly needs to win.

God, no sh!t. They are barely above .500 (17-15). May have been dashed? This isn't an NFL wild card spot...
