Elite Eight if we really do get this draw.  Wow

Would probably take this draw fourth of four.  As a 10 I'd go West before any of the others in this scenario.

I'd prefer the Texas/Purdue or Clemson/Kansas St 7/2 to Gonzaga/Ohio St. I think the buckeyes have final 4 talent.

Absolutely - that's the worst 7/2 we could draw out of the four regions.

I disagree.  I would fear Gonzaga's bigs, but I think we're far more athletic than they are and would be able to get out and run on them.  I really don't think they're that good.

As for Ohio State I greatly fear Turner but other than that I don't see anything there.  Big Televen teams stink.

I guess it depends on what you're looking at.  I'd take the first two rounds in this set up over the other ones.  But if they get past that, I think the other regions are better match ups.

I would want the Texas/Purdue or the Northern Iowa/Duke. NI really slows down the game and if we hit our shots that could be huge. Duke isnt impossible. If we could get Purdue with that id love it because New Mexico would be the most favorable 3. Clemson would be a tough 7 to face. Booker would have his way.

But if you wanna beat Zaga then just foul that 7'5 tool on their team. Hes shooting 18% from the line and air balled 2 straight last night. Jesus.

They have Evan Turner and although they have Lauderdale, they start a fairly small lineup.  But let's face it, every team we play will have a taller front and backcourt.  I also think Kansas State is a weak #2 if that's where they end up.  They have 2 wins against the top 25 (Texas and UNLV) neither of whom are ranked in the top 25 any longer and they barely beat Iowa State in their last game at home.  Other than Kansas, it's just my opinion, but I don't see the Big 12 being a strong conference...

Slightly off topic..but did anyone notice he put Seton Hall in the tourney?  Big East got 9 bids.

Yes, and Illinois and Mississippi. Definitely seems to be in the minority there from what Ive seen, but I like his explanations

PS- the difference between going 60/64 or 63/64 in those predictions ends up being those 10 or so "why they did or didnt make it" teams that he has there. i bet if we did a prediction board most of us could get 60-62 teams correct

PSS- Typically if you stay away from those lists on selection sunday (MU) you end up being ok, even though from what I recall theres always one team that everyone had as IN that gets left OUT

Are you kidding? Did you watch Gonzaga play UW. Their bigs made UW look like a bunch of stiffs.

Sacre and Gray are pretty manly for Gonzaga.

Don't sign me up for this draw. I would love to have a guy like Sacre on MU or even that Sandhan guy from St. Mary's.

I think we would do alright v. the Zags.  (Hell, we should...it's a 7/10 game.)  But while Ohio State is quite beatable, I'm not sure if MU is the type of team that can do it.
