He hasn't made one yet (well, since he's been hurt anyway).

Not a suitcase, that is his lunchbox. Trying to bulk up for next year.

Buzz is doing a good job setting an example. (I have no room to talk)
-
Classes run all week, so it's not like he can just take off if he's not going to New York.

The fervent wish of all on this board.

The team is leaving today for NYC. So who knows.

I saw Mo Acker leave Humphry Hall at 9:45 this morning with a big suitcase and his Big East backpack on. My guess is that the players have to drop their stuff off at the Al between 1 time and another during the day, go to class, and then they leave from the Al at some point. Thy probably just drop their luggage off and someone takes care of it for them from there until they arrive at their hotel in NYC. So my guess is Mbao is making the trip to the BET with the team and was dropping off his luggage, just like Mo.
-
Did his suitcase have a picture of Dikembe Mutombo doing the finger wag? (I know Mutombo is from the Congo and Mbao is from Senegal, it's just a joke)
-
That was my second guess Wadesworld wasn't sure tho. thanks
-
I wonder how close he is to playing again. He was suppose to miss 4 to 6 weeks. It must be more than 4 weeks now.
-
Even though he was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks, he's done for the year.
-
Planning on a long weekend in The Big Apple...positive vision.

Why are these guys carrying their own bags? Isn't help provided for this? I know for a fact that the Duke players have valet and concierge service for their various needs. Is it any wonder we miss out on Hamburger studs?

Tell you what. Why don't you volunteer to be every player's b!tch and watch the "Hamburger studs" come flying to Marquette. This is the dumbest post EVER...
-
what u said is what i meant, rocky or hilltopper referred to the recent trend of new people registering, saying stupid stuff and then vanishing like kaiser suze (sic)

Actually...I think he is correct. I am pretty sure each Duke player has his own manager that takes care of everything for him.

he's done for forever.

I think we found a challenger for wyrgzy.

all im saying is that its not looking good for him based on his production earlier this year and his injuries.

And Erik Williams contributions have been much higher. He is a freshman and I give players the benefit of the doubt in these situations, I'm sure he's working his butt off like anybody else on the team. An offseason of work does wonders.

So you're saying an incoming freshman big, that we knew was a project when we recruited him, that sprained his knee is out of Marquette for his career? I doub't that unless you know something about his knee-sprain (and subsequent foot injury) that I don't know?

just like toneloc will

How quickly we forget how bad Cooby and Acker looked for much of last year. I'll take Mbao for next year over any other raw big we could get coming in next year.

just like toneloc will
I would disagree. toneloc gives his name and actual email, unlike the m.o. of the previous posters.

Solid first post.
While the numbers weren't there this year for Mbao, the way he was able to maneuver around the court with a body he is still obviously growing into leaves me quietly optimistic in his future for the next 3 years. MU is not a team that needs a "dominant" big. Obviously I won't be complaining if we were to ever get one, but being able to simply have that height out there goes a long way in taking pressure off our back court.
Guys like Mbao and Otule just need to mature into Ousmane types to have an impact with the way the team is currently built, and I don't see any reason (other than injuries keeping them out) why this can't happen.

That was a username of a previous offender.
Edit:
Doesn't matter, I have derailed the topic enough.
Apologies.
