We are the top team on Joe Lunardi's S Curve so we lead the last 11 in pack. 3 teams behind us in the "In" are playing today. Florida already lost. Good. Illinois and Wake Forest both play tough oppenents but at home. Hopefully 1 of them falls at the very least.
Northern Iowa is also playing Witchita State and a win by NI keeps that a 1 bid league.
But I can't decide on if I want uw or illinois to win. I love seeing those cocky badgers lose.
There is no way we are not in. 11-7 in the Big East, we're in. I'm just glad we got that win against Louisville, because if we had not then that first game for us in the BET would have been scary.
Illini down 8 with 4 mins. to go. Either UW is very good defensively or the Illini are awful.
The badgers are good defensively but the Illini are not very good. If they make the tourney we should be a 7 seed atleast. But great day so far. Florida and Illinois lose. Northern Iowa wins. No bids being stolen yet.
Florida loses to UK
Illinois loses to UW
UNI beats Wichita State
ODU beats VCU in overtime
I think it's the NIT that needs to expand...
Do you consider ODU a tourney team with a loss? Im in an argument on CBS with a bunch of Mid Major buffs saying that ODU shoud be an at large no question with a loss. I disagree.

IMO, it was likely. RPI in the 30's, 8-7 vs. top 100, only one >100 RPI loss, nice win over Georgetown. Given how other teams are doing they probably would have snuck in. Siena is up on Rider now, but they have/had less of a shot of making it as an at-large than ODU despite the 17-1 conference record because their best win is Northeasern (RPI of 71), and they got a bad rap for failing in every chance to get a nice win (Temple, Butler, UNI, Georgia Tech, the later three losses all by double digits) .
