Title: Jay Wright is not a good game coach revisited
Post by: Tugg Speedman on March 06, 2010, 07:15:57 PM
According to all the "basketball experts" on this board, all teams should be undeafeated.  They only reason they lose is because their coach is not good in game situations.

The idiots that write this about Buzz should be embarassed to show their basketball ignorance.

I'm calling it - if we win Wednesday, we will beat Nova Thursday.  Jay's been too busy shopping and getting his nails done for us not to beat them this time around.  Plus we seem to play better when we don't have a few days off.

Doesnt really help that Marquette has to potentially face the two teams in conference with the biggest chip on their shoulder, Uconn and Nova

Dammit, Roy.

You have McD's AAs...won NCAA titles...and you're getting BLOWN OUT @ Cameron by 17 in a nationally televised rivalry game?!?

Horrible...

Dammit Jim.

You win by single digits AT HOME to a smaller Marquette team that pasted Louisville by 20...that you lost to...while being ranked #1 in the country!

Horrible.

It it really "ignorance" to question Buzz's decision not to foul ND on the floor?

Brey faced the same game situation at the end of OT.  He chose to send MU to the line and not let us even have a three point attempt.  The scoreboard suggests that Brey made the right choice and Buzz did not.

Frankly, those of us who have watched a lot of basketball over the years can remember FAR more game-winning and game-tying 3 point shots than successful intentionally-missed FT/rebound/putbacks.
