Man...haven't seen him that livid on the cam!
Burr deserves it. Proof that spirits can slow your response time.
What was Buzz given the T for?
We are 0-4 in games Burr has officiated this year.

What was Buzz given the T for?
It was building..MU not getting calls on their end..got called for a phantom travel, and a few other questionable calls..then MU forces what was a sure turnover with an errant pass headed out of bounds..an it hits right off Burr's foot, deflects to an ND player..who drives to the basket and is bailed out with a tick tack call..that if made at the MU end on the previous possession would have sent us to the line...but ND gets the call..makes the 2 tech free throws and then the 2 for the "foul" Tie game at 24 at that point
Just as in football, Notre Dame gets every call in every game.
we are now 0-5 in games Burr has officiated. Coincidence? No. As much as I would hate to bet against MU, I feel like someone could make a nice living taking the opponent in games Donaghy.... I mean, Burr officiates.
I thought Cubillan was whistled with the T ?-(
Could have used that point that the T gave up...
There are tons of things that could have gone differently during that game that I have seen others point out: hitting more 3's, not getting calls, Buzz's T...I don't blame Buzz for getting the T and definitely don't see his T as the reason we lost. We were getting crap on by the refs on about 4 consecutive plays, I'm glad someone said something. I was yelling at Burr too and if he heard what I was saying I would have gotten tossed...

I just looked it up on the ESPN play-by-play. It was listed as a Team Technical Foul.
I guess that means it was on Buzz (who was livid right before it was called).
At the game they announced it as a techincal foul on the bench (Buzz).

if burr would lose a couple of tons, that ball gets by him and rightly so goes out of bounds. mr. referee red nose's reaction time seems a bit off-how about a pee in a cup before the game just to make sure he isn't sippin a little too much cough syrup. then maybe a little agility test and some wind sprints to see if the dude can handle the rigors of the game. i think he goes to goolsbys at halftime-not good
Burr kept the ball in bounds, but I think the beef was with James Breeding (he's the tall, skinny ref). Buzz was upset with an over the back call he made on Hayward at the offensive end. There was a time out after the call and Buzz was calling him over. Breeding kept telling him to go to his huddle, which he didn't. The two had a heated discussion that lasted the bulk of the time out. Breeding went from one baseline to the other and was glaring at Buzz the whole time.
Once that weird sequence played out, the ball was kept in play, the drive, the bad foul call the entire bench went nuts. Breeding wasted no time ringing Buzz up. It was a quick T and the reaction that drew the call wasn't that unusual.
The problem I have is that Breeding's ego got in the way. Buzz wasn't showing him up he was asking for an explanation and Breeding didn't feel the need to give one. He let his arrogance make him a part of the game instead of officiating it. In short, two of the three officials sucked.

This. And after that foul, Hayward was getting looked at by the trainer and Breeding was trying to bait Hayward into an argument. He followed Lazar back to the bench, jawing with him when Buzz rightly stepped in.
That guy was in over his head on Saturday. He should stick to the A-10.
Burr was handling Buzz just fine. It was easy even for him to understand why Buzz and the bench were frustrated when that pass bounced off Burr's sizeable girth. Breeding dropped the t real fast, clearly in response to the previous discussions at the time out.
