Only 100?  I didn't like that place when it was Gametime and probably wouldn't now.

A "Headband Out" would be awesome for Lazar's last game.  Maybe pay tribute to Acker and Cubi by having midgets wear them.

(apologies to anyone who may be offended by the term midgets)

damn, I wish there was more time, I'd buy another 100 of these myself to hand out to my section.

It'd be helpful if we knew what color uniforms they were going to wear.  Coordinated headbands would be a spectacular sight.

100? Seriously, what are those like $0.75 to make?

Thanks for the sponsorship ESPN!

Not to mention that place SUCKS. I went there before the DePaul game and the service was awful, food was mediocre, and beer selection was severely lacking. Not worth your time.

Agree wholeheartedly.  I was there before the Nova game, and the owner kept coming around dropping hints that we needed to leave to make room for other people, but there was still an hour before gametime.  The food sucked.

I got a proposition for any students here.

http://stores.midwestsportswarehouse.com/-strse-3/Mueller-M-Wrap%C2%AE-/Detail.bok

I just went out and bought 10 rolls of this stuff at the local sporting goods store.  It ain't perfect, but if you tie it around your head kamikaze style, it visually looks enough like a headband for TV / crowd viewing purposes.  Any students willing to help distribute the rolls in the student section?  I figure each roll should be enough for 30 people, so that would be enough for 300 all together.  I'd consider getting more rolls if anyone is interested in helping distribute it, I just can't get in the student section.

I guess I can't say we should do this "headband out" do to the "gold out" not being a success. However it would be cool to show the support to Lazar and all he's done, but let's face it, were not to good at doing "outs". Too many oldies and lazys I guess.

Well, if the restaurant sucks mayb the headbands are NOT for Saturdays game rather a "Thanks for showing up at our sucky restaurant."

though it would be cool if everyone wore gold headbands.
Viewers would see lots of "angels" in the stands.

The promo at the restaurant is LAME. It would take a lot more than a cra*py headband to get me in there.

That said, the best way to get large fan participation is to hand something out to everybody, not 'ask' everyone to wear something. We've had almost no giveaways all year, no bobble heads, etc., and headbands are cheap and simple. How hard would it be for the entire lower bowl to get a headband from MU (in the color the team is wearing on Saturday) to wear for Lazar's final home introduction? Would be outstanding. And it's something you can take off after the intros if you don't want to keep it on. And we would probably end up on SportsCenter!

2 for 1 drinks from them is enough to get me there.

Sorry I gotta ask: how does a place with that location suck?
With over a combined 100 Admirals/Bucks/MU games (not counting WWE, shows and everything at the Cell) you'd figure that a quality place would thrive there. Every place that has been in that location has been mediocre at best.

Calling the places that have been in that location "mediocre" is an insult to mediocre joints all over this great nation.

You're spot on that the location across from the BC with that much foot traffic and that much parking should be a slam dunk.  I'll never understand how Turner's and Goolsby's can be okay but the businesses in that space have always been full of fail.

Turner's doesn't do as well as you'd think.

I've heard rumblings of RC getting rid of it as well...
