Lunardi has us playing Cal in OKC. The winner to play Kansas St.

I'm becoming more and more convinced Lunardi doesn't know jack.

He's horrific at picking seeds
And it's not that terribly tough to pick who's in/who's out...
It's ESPN pimping their product, and there's nothing new about that.

Kinda doubt K-State gets a #1 seed, but if so, that's not such a bad potential second-round setup. MU would matchup with them a lot better than most, if not all, other potential 1/2 seeds.
Still, have to wonder how MU dropped a spot in Lunardi's mind without playing.

I think in the previous bracketology we were an 8/9 that got moved up because Cuse was #1 in the bracket.
Playing California in the first round wouldn't be bad though regardless. Probably the easiest 9 seed to play.
did you notice his Wisconsin vs Utah State matchup? that's like a slow death for those fans that can't appreciate the athletisicm of the two-handed set-shot.

that would be a legendary matchup
I remember discussing this last year when the real brackets came out, Lunardi is spot on with picking who makes it but pretty far off with seeds.
When they beat ND and rutgers/hall, they will move up to a 6 or 7 IMO; I personally think they deserve a 6. If you consider that Cuse is a 1, WV/Pitt 2s or 3s and Pitt a 4 or 5 then MU should get a 6 or 7...natural progression right? I think the committee can throw out the Depaul game as a anomaly at this point. MU has proven, at worst, to be the 5th best team in the top conference.

Completely disagree. They started the season without Theo Robertson. They are slowly playing better and better. Good 3 pt shooting team that plays a similar lineup to MU.
If memory serves, the hated Badger nation went to the Final Four as an 8 seed? If I'm wrong feel free to correct........
If we get the right #1 in there (i.e. not Kansas or Kentucky) we can beat anybody on any given day. It just takes one game!

Not sure why people think we can beat Syracuse. They are undefeated on the road. We were down by 17 with 4 min to go. If u caught Boeheims post game presser, he said his team got lazy and lost focus at the end because they had been beating their competition handidly in their last couple games.

Depending on the lighting at the site, they may need to stock the concessions with sunscreen.

Lunardi got 63 out of the 65 teams correct last year. The last one or two are the only ones that are tough, and he got those wrong. The first 63 are usually gimmees if you pay attention to this stuff. To be fair, he got 65/65 in 2008, but I still don't see that as a huge accomplishment to proclaim him an authoritative source.
How does he still have UConn in? That's a complete joke at 17-13 (7-10).
Also by putting UConn in, he is giving the Big East 9 teams.
I'd love to see 9 BE teams in the tourney.

Arizona was missing Loren Woods so that helped the Badgers get by their #1 seed that year.
