From New Haven Register article on game last night:
Brey said after the game there's a slim chance Harangody could play against Marquette on Saturday, saying the bone bruise on his right knee has improved.
I would almost hope that he plays. The gody-less Irish seem to be playing much more as a cohesive unit compared to how they were playing with gody.
Edit: man, ninja post in front of my by g0lden3agle! I suppose a "ditto" will suffice :)

I am not going to reveal my sources but word is that he will most likely be out for the whole season. I heard his injury has danger of causing sever fractures unless its fully healed. My sources say this "news" is just gamesmanship to keep MU guessing.
I agree that they are better w/out him. I wonder what his relationship is like with the rest of the team, as he does not seem very animated or encouraging on the sidelines, at least not when the camera is on him. (As mentioned earlier, compare to Lazar on the sideline when in foul touble, cheering like crazy.)
I still hope he doesn't play, then again its fun to watch Hayward and Gody go at it.

I agree with that entirely I don't think he'll play until the BE Tourney. He might be sitting out in hopes that he's healthy for his NBA workouts...just saying. Has he lost respect from his teammates?? Who knows, but he definitely has a hateable attitude and demeanor.

You forgot face. He definitely has a hate-able face too.
Thank god he has missed the games he has. I do not want to be reminded of him every single year because he holds the all-time points and rebounds records in the BE. I like the records the way they are now.

Yeah and now we get to see more of his twin Cooley.

I knew I wasn't the only one that thought they looked eerily similar (at least when watching games, I haven't seen a close-up of the guy).
I think it's a little strange that his "retired" jersey is already hanging from the rafters at ND. (showed it last night). I've never heard of that anywhere.
Weird. It even took Wade a few years.
And I don't know why Gody isn't animated on the bench. Last night he would just be claping on big plays as if his teamates had just made a FT. Jelously could be a factor, or just anger, but yet DJ handeled it great last year. He for sure is no Lazar (UCONN gm.),
Was Hansbrough's jersey in the rafters since he won the POY awards as a junior? Wikipedia says they must wait until their class graduates and he had a ceremony in February of 2010, but I could have sworn his jersey was up there during his junior season. I'm probably wrong but maybe another instance.
As for Gody, I didn't really notice him being disinterested until mentioned but remember watching the games and he even seemed out of it during time outs. I don't think he was really up high fiving anyone as they came into the huddle. Which is so surprising since he is always pretty animated on the court, but maybe that's only when he scores or something goes against him. I think it would be great for us if he played against us. A rust Harangody trying to find his place on a team that is playing very well without him, and trying to do that in a tough environment on senior day. He probably wouldn't play much but a few short spurts could take them out of their rhythm.
I would love to see the KenPom stats for ND's defense with and w/o Harangody. Additionally, no one in the nation takes a higher percentage of his team's shots than Harangody (Zar is 9th!)
I had an insane ND fan in front of me at the game in SoB last year. He was screaming "PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!! PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!" after a Harangody bucket. Because I can't resist, I yelled back "Watch your player of the year give up an easy bucket on this possession!" Sure enough, Zar bailed me out on that one.
Even though they have been hot, id still rather not have to play him, then again if he played and wasnt healthy it could really help us. Its moot though. Hes not going to play. Brey also said a few days back that if Gody didnt play Wednesday he wouldnt play Saturday either. They will rest him til the BET at the earliest.
I don't think that he had his jersey retired, but had his name be the first on the Ring of Fame around the arena. I could be wrong.
