That was a friggin' great comment and hearing him all choked up after the game last night was just awesome.
Bring on ND!
Are there any transcripts or videos out there?

Buzz has had some great quotes this year. Here are two of my favorites on top of the quote in this thread's title:
"I feel the same way about Santa Clause and the tooth fairy as I do about bracketology - they're all just fairy tales."
"We need to grow our hair out to protect our brains so we don't forget how to play like ourselves."
Just ridiculous comments completely deadpanned. I love it. Anyone else have any I'm missing?
I'm like a turtle, I remember everything.
Last night on taking today off:
And so we're going to get one tomorrow. I'm watching The View, Price Is Right -- all that stuff."
I love his pressers.
Very quotable and seems genuine.
That was a truly great comment. It works on a lot of levels. Kids with the big national reps who are figuring that they will play for Louisville and some of these other BE programs (Uconn comes to mind) on their way to the NBA are the mercenaries. They are in it for themselves.
MU is the "under-equiped" militia who nobody takes seriously but who win because they are totally committed.
We're Warriors...but he gets the idea. DiUlio probably would have had a sit down with him after those comments to make sure militia didn't offend anyone.
I love this quote from last night's post-game (from Rosiak's blog):
Johnson-Odom referred to you as "weird". Do you think you are: "Yep. I tell them I'm weird. They know I'm weird. I think anybody that does this for a living is weird. I don't think you grow up normal and go, 'Oh, I want to coach at the highest level and just get my brains beat in every day.' I don't think you grow up dreaming that. I think I've been weird for a long time, but I think I know how to counter that weirdness -- I'm just up-front about it. I'm not trying to hide it."
I'm pretty sure I've got this right
"I know I am a man of many peculiarities and I try not to impose them on anybody else"

Yeah, I loved that quote as well. Almost every coach I've met or worked for has weird ideosyncracies. College coaches, especially. But if he can recognize it (which most don't), that's a huge plus. He is a very easy person to like, there is no question about that.
Favorite from this year: "Fortune favors the brave."
A good one from last year: "Relationships built on trust overcome all odds."
After the Seton Hall game he started his interview with Homer by asking, "You think my tractor's sexy now?" Then he started laughing hysterically before getting control of himself and saying something like, "I don't know if that was appropriate." Buzz has to be one of the only people on earth who can turn Kenny Chesney pop country music lyrics into great basketball trash talk.
This must of been before the Louisville game but Buzz was talking to the team and said it was a great credit to the players to be 19-9 when everyone was predicting them to be 9-19. He said if they were 9-19 they would of only been living up to the expectations of others for this year and no one would of thought twice about it, but instead to be 19-9 that no one knows except themselves how hard they worked to get there. Then they went out and stomped on Louisville.
I think jim mcilvaine touched on this but a "Marquette Militia" camo shirt looks like the front runner for next year's MU Madness shirt
