next update his bracketology? Is he updating every couple of days as we near selection Sunday?
It's been Mondays and Fridays for about two weeks now. Not sure if that increases as the season unfolds but I doubt it. Twice a week is probably enough.
he usually updates friday mornings. dunno if he picks it up closer to tournament time.
He updated this morning via the ESPN blog. It looks like MU moved up five spots on the S-curve according to him.

so, to what seed would that translate?
First of all this guy gets way too much cred, but he posted on his blog this morning. He does not list Marquette as a "lock", only on the "currently in" side of the bubble.
It looks like he has us as the fourth 8 seed after last night...movin' on up.
If we're not a lock after last night, then Lunardi has lived up to his surname.
I stand corrected - just checked out bracketology and while it says "Updated - March 1" it has us at 20-9 and a 7 seed against Old Dominion.

He's good at picking who's in and who's out, but not so great at the seeding. Usually gets 63 or 64/65. Although when you think about it, really the only teams there are a question about are the "last four in," so maybe it's more like he gets 2/4 or 3/4 every year?
A 7 seed would be great for us. If we stay healthy, we'll be a tough out for any 2 or higher seed.

He does have a good percentage at in/out, but so do approximately 80 other bracket projection services. As far as I know, the bracket project matrix is the best site for projecting, although there is a bit of a lag because not all of the sources it surveys are updated every day. Of course you have to remember that it's still a bit of a crapshoot since the committee acknowledges that they can move a team up or down a line for "other considerations" such as location and setting match-ups.

syracuse is the 1 in the region we are placed, so the 7 might be accounting for that.
