Those blue shirts looked better then the "Gold Out".
But ESPN said that was Carolina Blue

No...Stuart Scott (Mr. Tarheel), said it was Carolina blue. He was corrected by his co-anchor that MU has multiple jersey colors.
Why didn't the team wear the baby blues last night?!?

um...they wanted to win. ;)
When we wore them for the St. John's game, I was listening to the pregame and first couple of minutes of the game and either Homer or Mac had a pretty good comment about them. They called them the '77 Blues and followed it up by saying when you win the championship, you get to steal the other teams colors. It made me laugh.
The '77 Blues.
I say we start referring to those jerseys as the " '77 Blues" and retire the term "baby blues".
(EDIT: the teal is not intended to denote sarcasm here...it is the closest color to the jersey color I had available.)

Motion seconded.
I'm in favor of that.
