Title: UW-Madison ready for prime time?
Post by: NavinRJohnson on February 17, 2007, 01:51:20 PM
Seeing creepy Bo Ryan's team beat up another patsy today, and working their way through the Big 10 cesspool, got me thinking. What sort of evidence is there that they are any sort of threat to win a handful of consecutive games in the tournament? Unfortunatlely for them Northwestern, Penn State, and Iowa aren't going to be there. Just looking over their past 11 games since the beat OSU, - they are 10-1, but the average RPI of those teams is 109, with the lone loss coming against Indiana (RPI 17). How have they been tested in any way? If what I expect to happen in the next couple weeks happens (Loss to OSU, and possible loss to MSU), what inidcation would there be that they are Final Four, let alone National Title contenders?

have been telling my BADger fan friends that all conference play, there response "yeah but the Badgers beat MU", thats about all they have, some game in early December, pretty sad.  They also badgered me(no pun intended) about the loss at DePaul, I then informed them that Kansas also lost at DePaul, and that if DePaul was in the Big Ten, they would be a top three team

They are a solid team and can go to the Final Four easily.

I'm not sold that they're going to win it.

But maybe the press is...on ABC they had a special on the Badger Nation.
