Game 29: Louisville
Sole possession of fifth place in the Big East standings will be on the line Tuesday night when the Marquette Golden Eagles host the Louisville Cardinals at the Bradley Center.
Louisville (19-10, 10-6) enters having won four of its last five games, including a 78-76 affair at UConn on Sunday, to get itself back into NCAA tournament contention. The Cardinals' lone loss in that span came at the hands of Georgetown, 70-60.
Louisville has been a tough team to figure out this season. The Cardinals lost consecutive home games earlier in the season to Charlotte and Western Carolina, rebounded a bit and then lost four of five in Big East play. After back-to-back wins over UConn and Rutgers, they were blown out at St. John's, only to bounce back and become just the second team this season to win at Syracuse.
