K has them peaking at the right time. With Kentucky and Kansas, you can add them to the list of teams I am actually scared of in the tourney.
Duke is Duke, and because it gets every call in every game is always a threat. But don't go by their play in a very mediocre ACC. Hell, a Georgetown team that has gone downhill fast kicked the hell out of them two weeks ago.

Add Syracuse to that list as well as K State.
I'm not afraid of Cuse or KState on a neutral floor. Sure, we may lose, but we have a shot. The only 3 teams I have seen all year that I worry about us competing with are Kentucky, Kansas and Duke.
tower why wouldnt you be afraid of cuse on a neutral floor? You do realize they are the only team in the country to not lose a single game away from home right? Both their loses are at home.
Yeah, but then again, they haven't come up against Indiana on the road.
We were even with them through 28 minutes at their place. We took 8 minutes off to make it challenging and then nearly caught them. I fear no team we have already played.
I thought Cuse handled us relatively easy. They'll do the same thing to us again, as they just did to Nova, and beat the crap out of us down low. Not a team I want to see in the tourney.
Duke, I'd love to see. Their pressure defense would allow for a great deal of penetration and kick-outs, and their athleticism surely doesn't scare me. If we're looking at Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Cuse as #1 seeds, I'm taking Duke every time! The other three teams have big men that would stop our guards from penetrating to the hoop, which would allow the wings to stay home. In Cuse's case they'll obviously be in their zone.

The problem with playing Duke is that they basically play MU's style of basketball...only they are better at it than we are.
At least with a team like Syracuse, we can hope to get hot from 3 point land against their zone.
And Cuse is the only team in the Big East we have yet to beat. I'd bet even with the great team they have that Kentucky would not want to play MU in the tourney. We would be the ultimate trap game for them and their fans know it. Just like us not wanting to face Michigan State. I am not saying we would win, but anything can happen in a single elimination.

I completely agree. We should scare the hell out of that young UK team. If we get up 10 or more, I can see Cousins throwing a temper tantrum at mid court.
