Title: 3 Straight OT road wins
Post by: tower912 on February 28, 2010, 01:30:15 PM
It that isn't a record, it should be.   Haters, I don't know how in the world you can criticize Buzz.   Winning 3 straight OT road conference games is a sign of a coach and a team in sync with each other.    He has gotten the absolute max production out of this team and that is all you can ask for in a coach.

Buzz has gotten experience in almost everything possible the last two years.  Being a top 10 team, injuries to key players, players leaving, big recruiting battles, etc.  He is really going to be better for it.

I never thought we would go 3-0 on this mini-road trip when I saw it on the schedule in the fall.  Great to escape it 3-0.

The greatest thing about these three wins is that we did not go in and shoot lights out.  We earned all of our wins.  Hopefully we can start winning games on shooting talent going forward because we are going to need it.  We have not shot all that well for a while, and a good team like Pitt will take advantage.

There is no doubt they are starting to gel at the right time.  I still wish we could win a game by more than 5 points.  Just once...

I don't recall seeing a more cool, calm, and collected team, in all situations, than this one coached by Buzz. And, yes, he has everything to do with it.

I agree, I would make a horrible coach.  All I do is swear and throw things at the TV...

Yep, I dropped a huge f-bomb when DJO committed that foul.

I'll take a win any way we get it.  Looking forward to the tournament with the current core team healthy.  Knock on wood, no one else becomes injured.  JC, Fulce and Erik Williams played decent in their limited minutes.  While our bench doesn't get a lot of minutes and points, I am glad we have a talented bench with a high ceiling.  Hope the bone spur and respitory infection with Buycks gets cleared up.

Just one bomb?  I'm surprised my 11-month old didn't learn that word this afternoon.

Just the one.  It was loud enough to get the point across.
