Want to give it to Zar for his all-around play, but he was bricking from beyond.
Want to give it to DJO for his late game drives, but he made some TOs which kept SHU in the game.
I say Coobs. He provided points he wasn't supposed to and held his own today...in his hometown.
DJO
Edit: Dude played 41 minutes off the bench, 16 pts, 5 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals

DJO
Did a great job on Hazell, but how much of that was due to Hazell's bad back?
Acker
Zar, hands down. without him we have nothing.
Anyone but Coobs. DJO or Acker I say.
Total team win today.
coobs 44 min 16 pts 4 boards 3 assists and 2 steals and 1 block.
Lazar. 23 points, 8 rebounds and his awesome start to the game that got us the big lead.

Sometimes the numbers don't tell the whole story. Did you watch the game?
If you can give it to the team I would.
Coobie was big with his nice drives, late 3's and clutch FTs.
STARTERS MIN FGM-A 3PM-A FTM-A OREB REB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS
David Cubillan, G 44 6-12 2-6 2-3 0 4 3 2 1 0 2 16
Fulce was big with his outside shot and hustle layup.
And then also the usual outstanding performers.
Coobs was awful. Zar or DJO for sure.
definitly not coobs. His brick at the line almost gave them the win, add on alot of misses for hima s well. I give it to Zar
Obviously Lazar, it shouldnt even be a question. 23 and 8... He deserves it hands down.

Yes I did. Everyone had tons of mistakes.. Zar with his bricks, DJO with his foul and TO's.

Ugh. This makes me throw up in my mouth. Coobie's contribution on the game today cannot be just measured in his stat line. His 6 or 7 misses were shots at the wrong time, ones that did not have to go up. I was not happy with his play today at all.
Judging on pure impact and not numbers, has to be Acker. I had no doubt in my mind he was going to stroke those FTs. Great game for him today.
Coobs. He has a great stat line including a block.
Well, whoever it is this is a great problem to have.
Team.
Refs.
Zar earns it for the steal at the end and Warrior like brush off of Theodore (who wanted the bump) after he stole it from him.
Team....
I vote Lazar
Acker - good floor game, huge ft's and applied the pressure that forced SH out of bounds with 11 seconds left. He wasn't just tough, he was Army tough!
Three straight road wins in OT, all "white-knucklers" as our late great coach would say, and people are complaining about individual performances. Everybody was up and everybody was down at different times today. And we had even less depth than usual. Just a great, great team victory.
Cubillan.
Buzz said Cooby played great, and is playing at an extremely high level.
How about me as I made it through the third game in a row without having a friggin heart attack.

Cubillan.
Forget SOTG, can we get a "Best User Name" award for: what the fulce?
Cubillan. Beyond the stat line he came up with several key 50/50 balls.
I say us fans that have survived heart attacks, strokes, developing nervous tics when the game nears the end and ends up in another overtime.
One day we will be remembered like old war vets that slowly die out....
;)
Zar,
strip on Theodore.
Made his FTs down the stretch

Yeah, though he holds his own inside and is deft at stripping balls and pushing the opponents around, I'm concerned that his DJ-like shooting (and desire to do so) from beyond the arc is wasting away MU possessions.
Of course, he hits them when we need him to (i.e., Cincy).
Zar's strip on that late breakaway proved game saving. In all three OT wins he's made big late scores/rebounds/steal. Did any Bearcat,Redman or Pirate immediately respond in kind? Don't think so. Talk about Intangibles. It shows how at times leadership goes beyond sphere of even the most precise analysis.
Wow,just Wow.
Keon Lawrence's foot for stepping on the baseline toward the end of OT.
In all seriousness though, I'd vote for Lazar. Cooby had some pretty gutsy play, as well.
