Since we're doing former coaching updates, seems we should be consistent.
USC had a 9 point half time lead and then proceeded to score 12 points in the second half ... AT HOME...again Jamil Wilson's Oregon Ducks team.
On the other hand, Rick Majerus' squad has won 6 of 7 and is on the soft bubble. Plus, no news of him taking a steamer in a towel for the manager to throw away this season. Things looking up in St. Louis.

There you again Chicos! Always trying to undermine Buzz. Clearly you hate Marquette. ::)
At least Majerus isn't taking "steamers" on the court at Assembly Hall, like another one of our former coaches.

Seat belt straining! ;D
U of O wins shooting 36% from the field and 25% from 3's and get's out rebounded on the O glass 16-3. USC shoots 32% from the field and only makes 1 FT. The pac 10 is awful, I guess somebody has to win.
yeah, i know that any sort of Kevin O'Neill fandom will be unpopular, but...
I really wanted USC to win the Pac 10 just because it would be ridiculous.
Obviously this won't happen, but what if USC won the conference outright and the tourney and since they are not eligible for post season play would that mean the Pac 10 could have gotten 0 bids?
That would have been hilarious.

Damn, you're right. 4-26. Wow. Deane's team really struggling this year....that would be a steamer on the court.
Dukiet still deceased
Raymonds still retired
That should balance out the last 30 years.

That's why they're not in the Pac Ten tournament, to prevent that very thing from happening. A couple of Pac Ten teams trying to make a late run here. Between Cal and Arizona State, it will be interesting to see if both make the finals will they both go.

Ahh, I didn't know that they weren't in the Pac-10 tourney.

Wagner lost to Bryant...and it was their only win of their year...
Majerus actually caught Ken Pomeroy's attention this year, too: http://kenpom.com/blog/index.php/weblog/majerus_does_the_unthinkable...again/
And USC has had some awful losses this year, but it looks like KO has them playing excellent defense and they actually compiled some nice non-conference wins in Tennessee, St. Mary's and UNLV.

Al McGuire... immortal
Bubble is soft enough this year IMHO that Cal and the JV (Arizona State when you're a U of A fan) will both make the tourney if they both win both of their games the final weekend and both make the Lac10 championship game.
USC just followed Thursday's electric performance with another that just ended here. 44 points at home as they lose to Oregon State in Los Angeles.
