Marquette is in the top 5.
Josh is Lazar 2.0 and Marquette could really use him

No, he's really not. Langford doesn't have near the perimeter game that Lazar has, and shows no signs of developing it. At this point he's an undersized post player, and Marquette already has enough of those.

What are you basing that on? All the times you've seen him play?
I may have exaggerated calling him Lazar 2.0, but I think he can be that good by his senior season.
His perimeter game has improved a ton since the start of the year and will only improve more.
wouldnt be terrible but im not sure that we need him, i think next years team is pretty much set the way it is and will already be a struggle for playing time for a lot of guys.

I've seen him on video several times and talked to lots of people who've seen him play several games since he decommitted from Louisville, as well as some who've been watching him from the very beginning. He's not nearly talented enough to be at that level, not even close.
Further, he doesn't fit well with what will be on the roster next year. Jones is similarly sized, and he's already a better perimeter player. Crowder is similarly sized, and he's already a better all around player. Williams is similarly sized, and he's light years ahead of Langford in terms of offensive talent. There's nothing Langford does well enough to warrant oversigning, especially when there are other much more pressing needs. It would be an absolutely terrible mistake to bring him in.
Point taken.... I'm worried about Jones though. He looked horrible on ESPN U

Wow, you blast bma (who is one of the most knowledgeable posters there is) and then make an opinion based on one game. Interesting to say the least. ::)

He did look horrible, I'll grant you that. But he also had performances earlier this year that had people thinking they way undervalued him and he should be a Top 40 guy.
That's really the only question mark with him. When he's on, there's no doubt about it, and he'll put on performances that make you think he's an All American. When he's off, he's really off and seems to try to force things. I think given how Buzz is as a coach, that attitude won't last. Plus, his ceiling is way higher than Langford's. Jones has one of the best shooting strokes in the country.
EDIT - I can't f'n spell.

I blasted him? Give me a break.
I'm worried about Jones because his effort and attitude he showed in the game... He looked like he didnt care if they won or lost.
I like BMA, he's an objective poster and I agree he has good info to share, but I think Langford is better than BMA is giving him credit for being.
yeah i think we are fine with jones and crowder
