him or DJO.

although by scenario, Hayward kicked off the winning scenario for us with his huge three in ot.

Jimmy deserves this one

I didn't see the whole game, but LH had a hand in every key play at the end:

3 to tie in reg
3 in OT
Baseball pass to JB
Last 2 defensive rebounds

Tough call today

This is definitely the hardest one.  I can see any one of three players get it.

Jimmy Butler.

Fulce played very well, but he wasn't on the floor in crunch time.

I agree with Joe Fulce.  Kept us in the in game and a contributed from the bench, something we missed.

Give it to Joe or Acker, 6 assists no turnovers and 2 clutch free throws.

Jimmy Butler, 20 points and 9-10 FT.  Did he play the entire game?

actually DJO's turnovers should take him out.  Needs to get that straightened out.

his three stroke is just beautiful though.

Fulce's points off the beanch were HUGE - he got some good reboudns too.  I'm voting Joe - he rarley gets the chance - so Joe!  (and hope he gets more !)

We dont get to crunch time without Joe, it was very unexpected for him to "go off" like that, Fulce is the stud.

I'd give it to 'Zar.  Those two threes (end of regulation, beginning of OT) were huge.

Fulce/Buttler are also defensible picks.

I just heard the announcers gave it to Lazar Butler-Fulce, and since Joe Lunardi is 97% correct it must be right.

I don't measure the SOTG just by what is strictly done at the end. That nullifies Zar.

Butler was pretty much unstoppable when he got the ball on the wing and drove it.
He was fouled almost every time.
And those FTs were clutch considering he could've derailed after missing one.

I agree that DJO does need to work on TO's, but he gets many of those as he tries to penetrate. He is the one we have to count on to penetrate as he has size and athleticism over Acker and Cooby. He adds a second scorer to our mix, so we will have to live with his game.

Lazar.

With as horrible a day as he was having shootingwise, to take the game-tying three with potentially the season on the line and to drill it is senior stones of the highest order.

Took over in OT, also did all the little things down the stretch, grabbing boards, the assist to Jimmy, and taking a charge.

Butler, for sure. DJO carried us at times, but Butler was very strong late. Lazar played too much like he did the other night to give it to him, though great 3s and a couple big boards down the stretch were good to see.

Gotta go with Jimmy. Have to say, though, I think Acker is playing 100% better than last year. Love this win - only downer is I made a deal with God (in the heat of the moment)that if we got a win, I wouldn[t have a drink until the NCAA's. I wish the tournament started tomorrow.

It's nice to have 4 different players considered for stud of the game.

I vote for Butler.

It is really close battle, I honestly would have no problem with Lazar, Jimmy, DJO, or Fulce winning.  That said I would have to pick Joe Fulce.  His energy and scoring off the bench was crutial for our win.  Where has he been all year?  Great game for Joe Fulce my studd of the game.

Watching every second, and loving lazar and jimmy to death, I still thought it was fulce hands down.  We went on the 12-0 or so run in the first half with fulce on the court and lazar on the bench.  No way either of them had a chance for the late game heroics without fulce's incredible game, and the decision to go to a true front line with all 3 of them on the court at once for a long stretch just when cincy had been on the verge of pulling away into double digit land gives me real hope that buzz doesn't always have to go 3-guard.
