I agree with you. Hopefuly that will improve once he gets more years under his belt as a head coach.

I thought he should have called a TO early in the 21-2 run by Cincy to end the half. He waited until it was a 12-0 run and Cincy already had momentum.

I would much rather have the TOs saved for the end of the game, than to use them in the 1st half to simply "stop a run."  Using more than 1 TO in the 1st half isnt really a good strategy.

I thought TO's don't carryover from 1st to 2nd half, that is why you see coaches use them in the last minute of the 1st half to run a set play in situations you usually wouldn't use a TO.

You can only carry 4 TOs over to the second half. Even if you dont use a TO in the 1st half...you lose it anyways, and begin the 2nd half with 4.

Again, I would rather have all 4 in the 2nd half, than use more than one in the 1st...and most coaches feel the same exact way.
