This Cinc run started when Junior came in at the point. Telegraphed a pass that was almost stolen. Next possession, feeble drive which was easily blocked and he touched it on the way out of bounds. Definitely began the momentum shift.
yeah and then acker came in and did a dumb layup and jacked up a 3...so let's not get too critical
Give the guy a break. he was hammered on that drive
I know Junior is coming off an injury (he never should have given up the redshirt) but this is increasingly looking like a bad recruiting class. He and Erik have provided zero glimpses of hope for the future.
I thought the action was good when JC was in - he had a great assist, and moved the ball fine. Yeah, sloppy pass, and easy block low, but we get blocked low by everyone. I wanted him back in. Cubbie has been sloppy

Lenny will be attacking you any second now. LOL

That was after we gave up a 13 point lead. I like Junior but our offense went completely off track and we couldn't get it back. Before I bounced on here, my thought was "I guess that is why he doesn't get much PT. His time will come.
We definitely need to see more JC before judgement is made. Way to early given the number of minutes he has played.

Yes....
Acker drove the lane and missed his "floater". Two possesions later took a long, long three and missed.
Then Cubes had a turnover and then he let clock run down and threw it away on next.
Not Junior's fault whatsoever.
i would rather have cadougan in there just due to his supposid potential that we need to see if its there or not.
cubillon when hes not hitting a three is basically about as good as having 4 men on the court. his turnovers as a senior are pathetic,,, he often times looks like a grade school ball player ----- off the foot etc..

That's a little harsh. Very few players can come in as freshmen and be productive. Its pretty rare.

Are you Chuck Polzin? Welcome to the board. Very cool!!
Cubi out; Junior in.
Cadougan needs to stay on the bench as he is too slow at this point to help us.
Also, color=teal]I thought it was great that only 1 timeout was called by MU during a 22-2 run.[/color]
Let's hope our Warriors start moving the ball to find an open look (that includes Hawyard who is becoming a black hole) and use better spacing when going one on one. Cincy has had some miserable second halfs this year and MU should play better 2nd half.
Erick, I'm not looking for 10 points and 4 rebounds per game. But I haven't seen either one do anything positive. Junior looks slow and out of shape and Erik is lost at both ends of the floor. Hopefully they're still growing and maturing as players, but it is discouraging that it's nearly March and both their freshmen years have been wasted.

Unless you are Domnic James, Jerel McNeal, Wesley Matthews, Steve Novak, Karon Bradlee, Dameon Mason, etc.
;)

I hear ya. But since they only play like 5 minutes a game between them I am no where near ready to write them off.
I'm not writing them off, either. But I have written them off for this year.

Fair enough, I bolded the wrong line previously. I meant to bold the line with saying this was a bad recruiting class. With DJO, Buycks, Williams, and JC, I have faith that the later two will improve and be solid players.
