Nice article and it looks as if Ernie Kent will be gone. Didn't realize they are building brand new arena, with NIKE support. One comment by a fan has the Jaime Dixon thing starting.
Who was the poster that stated a few months ago to be on the lookout for a bigman transfer from the West Coast, with speculation to Oregon? Of course it didn't happen, but....
The speculation was that Josh Crittle would transfer and consider MU because he considered us under Crean. Given the fact that he can't really get off the bench for a terrible team, I'm not sure you'd really want him here.
Wilson is starting and playing a lot of minutes. What's up with him?
BTW, if Crittle was a Crean big man recruit, I'd take a pass.

Wilson has had trouble adjusting to the college game. Gets caught in bad spots too often and it results in fouls. That trouble has limited any effectiveness and is the reason why Kent has sat him the last couple of games.
The kid to get from the quacks would be Dunigan. If all he had to do was worry about his spot and board he'd get a double double every night in an MU uniform.

Phil Knight from Nike is the money behind the new facility. It is awesome, opens next season.
Dixon doesn't seem like a guy that'll be a Pitt forever by any means, but why a pretty lateral move to Oregon? Pac 10 obviously is way down, but league is big-time young this year, and U of A (Miller), UCLA (Howland) and Cal (Montgomery) all will be good for the foreseeable future.

Two reasons:
1. He's a west coast guy. He grew up in Cali and spent most of his career coaching in that area. UC-Santa Barbara, Hawaii(twice), Northern Arizona, and a JUCO out there.
2. He's already stated that he doesn't want Pitt to move to the Big 10, but he's got no control over that decision. If they move, he would start looking elsewhere.

The challenge for Dixon is that now most of his roots are East despite his previous CA ties. However, that may be a positive thing to some as there may be recruits who would want to play for the Nike team.
My bet is that Mark Few leaves Gonzaga for Oregon.
He'll have the support, the $, and the contacts in the NW and West.
Not a bad call. I don't know what it'll take for Few to leave there since he hasn't already. He has a great thing going. But has he taken that team/program as far as he can and is he up for a new challenge. Wouldn't be a bad move considering he could basically keep all his regional connections.

I thought Oregon was courting Few last year and would have fired Kent immediately if Few had any interest.
