I think, we had only scored 51 points all game, so to score 7 (or 8) in the last 20 secs (assuming they hit no FTs), would have been, well, impossible. Call it quitting if you like...but I thought the guys just showed a little bit of losing gracefully. I hate it when teams drag on a game they're not gonna win.
If it was 4 pts, maybe we foul, but I'm glad we didn't try to extend the game.
I'd have to agree with you there. We had plenty of opportunities at the end to make it uncomfortable for Pitt and couldn't convert. Give Pitt a lot of credit for using their physicality against us better than anybody else has yet this year.

I have a hard time saying a team that has come back from being down 23 in the second half at Villanova to lose by two actually quit on the game. Our offense hasn't looked as stagnant at any point this year as it did in the 2nd half tonight.
