WVU is giving up 2 1/2 to 3.

Not one to bet.  I'm pulling for the result that helps us most in the standings.  Highly unlikely we catch WVU, which would require them losing three more and us running the table since they have the tiebreaker.  So I'll pull for WVU to put us within a half game of Pitt.

A WVU win would be very nice for us. We want to catch as many teams as we can, and our chances of catching WVU (since we don't have the tiebreaker) are nil.

I disagree - WVU has some tough road games coming up - I'm pulling for PITT (we can catch PITT by beating them if we beat USF tomorrow).

I think we have a much better chance of catching Pitt because all we need is to beat them at home (and match them in the other games).  If we go 5-2 down the stretch all WVU would need to beat us is 3-4. I dislike both schools intensely, but I think a WVU win is more beneficial for us.

I want high NCAA seedings for the Big East conference, so I am rooting for Syracuse, West Virginia and Villanova to win as much as possible.

agreed and those three winning all their remaining games helps us as that has to include them beating some of the teams we are competing for seed with.

Trash PITT fans chanting USA USA USA, after a foriegn-born player on WVU misses a shot.  Yet on there squad they have a guy that was born in the Bahamas and Nigeria.

Trash.

Parlayed Pitt +3 and the over of 129 and got nearly 3-1.

Let's go Pitt!

I love/hate parlays. (if gambling on sports was legal)
Especially during the NCAA.

The garbage time/legendary 3 that utah st hit cost me a 5 team parlay in the NCAA last year.

Is this a joke? Pitt's player has the ball and one foot on the out of bounds line with the ref staring at his foot and the dude swallows his whistle.

Alas he missed it.  But really, 80% chance of going down.   ;)

Sick shot by Truck though.

That Butler fake and step back looked very familiar.

I don't like either of these teams. But, UWV got BF'd in regulation. Game should have been over then.

I like how the fans think Pitt can do no wrong.  Not that we're any different (or any other team's fans), just funny to hear.

Love the "left, right, left, right" chants. I'd be shuffling back and forth with fake sit-downs while their home team is shooting the FTs! LOL!

Wait, no fans rushing the court?  Disappointed.

Amazing. I rules Pitt out. McGee was huge on the boards. And those missed Pitt FTs didn't hurt them.

A PITT loss and an MU win tomorrow would have had us tied in the conference.

Crazy game...

EDIT: Just saw the Ashton Gibbs 3pt replay. WVU was jobbed. They have a right to be pissed. The Pitt player's foot was on the out-of-bounds line!

Man, that missed stepping-on-the-sideline call was unbelievable. The ref was looking at his foot from three feet away and didn't make the call. It was if he decided, "Hey, your a-hole fans threw stuff and hit a coach the last time you guys played, so we've getting you back."

For MU's chances of getting to the 4-spot in the standings and the double-bye in the BEast tourney, I guess a Pitt victory is better, right? Of course, we still need to beat them...when the time comes.

I like this result because that means Pitt will be a team ranked in the teens, and we have a legit shot of beating them at home, which would be another huge win over a ranked team.

If they lose to WVU they are probably unranked facing us, and the win wouldn't be quite so big (although still important). This gives us a chance to add another marquee win to our resume with the W over Georgetown.
