I am totally gonna play "Hey this would be cool....yet I have no effin' clue how to do it, card"

How about an iGoogle gadget?  Could refresh with new replies and new threads??

A cheap workaround would be to click the RSS feed icon up by the url.  Adding the Recent Posts RSS feed to your iGoogle page would give you the functionality you're looking for.
