Tied at 34. USF came from 15 down to tie. Should be a good one on Saturday.
USF is a very important game for us. It could come down between us and USF for the seventh BE bid. Glad it is at home. It would be great to have a sellout.
Interesting. Watching the game and though I was unfamiliar with USF's roster, I immediately recognized Anthony Crater, a MI native who MU had recruited.
Da Bulls are a solid team inside and out and are super quick . They will be a load next week.
I'm pulling for ND. USF has an easy schedule the rest of the way. Games against us and at Nova, but otherwise 4 home games, none against the elite, and a game at DePaul. If they win, with the way they're playing 11-7 would be easily doable. ND on the other hand has a good four losses in them still, especially with the way they play on the road.

Agree 100% I have heard two analysts for ESPN mention USF as a "bubble" candidate... nothing for Notre Dame and they still have tough games to go. We need bubble teams to lose right now.

Same thing could be said for the game against ND, or the game against Cincinnati, or the game against Louisville for that matter. Luckily 2 of those 3 are at home.
I find it a bit surprising that it seems ND and Cincy dont seem to be in the tourney discussion
PS- ND won at USF, and if they managed to win today it would be very difficult to select USF over ND in the field, especially if they finish with similar conf records. Oh and they have that Gody fella also
PSS- Cincy has beaten both USF and ND (split) with a game at USF remaining

I'm guessing they're just looking at the schedules. Looking at the schedules, ND has another four or five losses in them, Cincy might lose five or six more with a pretty brutal schedule. However, dismissing them would be a mistake as pulling out one or two of the tough games they don't seem likely to win not only keeps them in the mix but gives them the elusive quality wins that could seperate their resumes from the rest.
ND hangs on.
This may make a USF team hungrier...or begin their slide.
jones had a poor game, 3-16 and usf was brutal from the stripe. Any clue if gilchrist will be back?
Famous had a FT in the final seconds to tie...he missed.
I wonder if Heath has them run 500 sprints each practice, and then make them hit 50 straight FTs before leaving the gym. If he doesnt, they SHOULD be doing that. Or maybe Famous is just a choker with no heart...

The ESPN announcers said he would play against us on Saturday.
ND now with two wins and the tie-breaker over USF. One away win of the 4 @SH, L'Ville, G'Town, MU and 3 wins at home gets them to 10 wins and difficult to overlook.
Its crazy how jam packed this conference is. Its even crazier how HUGE each game from here on out can be. 1 win can be the difference between dancing and staying home

Gilchrist traveled with the team and there was a chance he could play. Supposed to be ready to go for MU game, although who knows if he will be 100% physically, and whether his game will be rusty. If he's effective, him and Famous could be a load for us down low. And then we still have to deal with Jones. should be interesting.
Damnit, USF is supposed to be a perennial pushover team we can always count on for a W, or an embarrassing L.
Dogs and cats sleeping together. Utter pandemonium.
watched the game..USF is very undiscplined & their D wasn't the best. There is no reason we can't beat them @ home!

Just wait until DePaul gets good again... Or even worse until Bucky starts to score in the 90s
Famous with a couple of very impressive, athletic putback stuffs.

They also have a win AT Georgetown and a win against Virginia.

Cincy is in about every bracket I've seen. ESPN's, Warren Nolan, etc
