Is it just me or does Jimmy Butler ever get ANY foul calls on his shots from in the paint? It's been happening since the start of conference play (especially on the road) and I wanted to see if anyone else noticed it?
The box score from this previous DePaul game says otherwise.
It's funny when Lazar and Jimmy yell "And 1" when they feel they get fouled....you can hear it so clear on the telecast.

I haven't noticed that, in fact I've felt one of Jimmy B's best talents is drawing fouls and getting to the line. He's gone to the line 78 times in 11 Big East games..or an average of 7 times per game. Definitely the most FTA's on the team.
Butler is #13 in the nation in free throws attempted per field goal attempt, and #1 in the Big East during conference play by a huge margin (http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/stats/ft_rate_pct?games=2&conf=big-east&season=2009-2010). I've never seen getting to the line as an issue for him.
Getting to the line is JB's strong suit. He does a fantastic job of drawing contact when driving the lane.
He does get to the line a lot but it seems that he draws contact every time although he doesn't get called every time.
One thing i noticed is that he doesn't seem to finish and get the basket if he is fouled. I think that is mainly a function of his frame and size.
No complaints, just an observation.
My (vague) memory is that this might be accurate defensively, for drawing charges, but that Jimmy draws lots of calls on the offensive end.
