If this guy was going to play bball, it sounded like we were in the mix for him. However, to no one's surprise, Henderson is going to play football and do it for the Pete Carroll-less Trojans.
Maybe he can come out to the game when we play them out there.

Except he hasn't signed yet. I believe he is holding off on signing until after they (USC) learns their fate with the NCAA.
Smart move.

Bruce Pearl has borrowed them for awhile.

If I remember right, there was a guy on my floor Freshman year at McCormick who went to that school. It made me wonder back then too.
Certainly didnt hurt Joe Mauer, Paul Molitor, or Matt Birk (who played at Harvard)

A fantastic school in the heart of St. Paul. Better then 90% of the institutions we attended.
It must be a nice problem to have. Should I play D1 basketball or football? Hmmmm....

Speaking of that problem and Cretin alum Joe Mauer, if I recall, he was one of the top QBs his senior year of HS and was thinking of playing at FSU, was all state in BB, oh yeah, and he was the top pick in the MLB draft. Must be rough.

Much like fellow alum, Chris Weinke who tried baseball out and got up into AAA until that didn't work so he went on to win a Heisman at FSU.
I'm surprised he didn't go to WI on an academic schollie!
Any chance he would play both sports?
